There are different kinds of mascara products. There are build a lash, non-clumping and curling products to thicken and strengthen the mascara. Waterproof mascaras are also available along with lash combs and brushes. Many colors are available in mascaras and the quality of the product is better today than before. Products are protein enriched to protect the eyes and conditioners to smooth and plump eyelash.

• Thickening mascara is perfect for women having baby fine lashes. It contains waxes or polymers that coat the lashes. Lengthening mascaras will have dense bristle wand that lengthens your lashes.


• Build-a-lash mascara has a combination of properties that makes the lashes both thicker and longer. It contains fibers that adhere to lashes to give them more bulk. The non clumping mascara contains extra ingredients like glycerin or silk extract to enhance smooth lash coating. The curling mascara will curl the lashes.


• The waterproof mascara contains synethics that repels moisture by preventing the mascara run away when exposed to water. The waterproof mascara is not perfect for everyone and it is not recommended for those having delicate lashes.


• The use of lash comb or lash wand are available to comb the lashes. Combs will be difficult to use. Lash wand will be better, easier to use.
  

Most people prefer mascara either in same color or darker. Most of the women prefer lashes in black. Whatever mascara you choose and what ever color you use, there are few steps that you can choose to get better applications

Tips

• Use powder under the eye before applying mascara, because it tends to smudge more when the under-eye is oily due to makeup creams and concealers.


• Use eyelash curler. Curled lashes make the eye appear bigger and brighter.


• Use mascara primer, so that it helps to separate the lashes and provide extra coating to look thicker.


• Apply mascara from root to tip. First wiggle it into the lash base and gently sweep it to the end. It helps to give your lashes illusion of being long and luxurious.


• Avoid blinking until the mascara is dry and more particular when you apply second or third coat. Extra coat takes more time to dry.

It is important to remember that mascara tends to breed bacteria and it should be changed often. At least twice a year

How to Wear Colored Eyeliner

• Prefer the colored you are interested to wear. Black eyeliner looks well with pale blue eyes, deep purple eyeliner works with dark brown eyes and green eyeliner works with hazel eyes.

• Apply wash of colored eye shadow over the eyelids using soft brush. Use smaller brush to add little eye shadow underneath the eye.


• User highlighter powder on the inner corner of the eyes.


• Apply eyeliner, if you are not confident enough about applying liquid eyeliner then make use of pencil eyeliner. If you want to apply liquid liner, use small fine strokes.
  

• Apply liner to the inner corners of the eyes. Apply black mascara to coat the lashes.


• Blink firmly over the brush, also use contrasting eyeliner on inner rims to finish.
