How To Choose Makeup For Skin Tone

  • Identify the skin color, whether dark, half cast, tanned or pale
  • If you are dark, then avoid pinks and be ultra careful; with blusher
  • For half cast, avoid green colors and be careful while choosing the lip colors
  • If you are tan, don’t use blue combinations. Brown suits you more
  • If you are pale, you should avoid red.
  • Also, consider your hair color and eye color. Make sure that colors chosen compliments each other
  • Once makeup is chosen for your color, then check what type of skin you have. It means oily, dry, spotty or sensitive skin.
  • If your skin is oily, then make sure that your make up products should not be oil based.
  • For dry skin, moisturizers should be applied before doing makeup
  • If you have spotty skin, don’t wear too much makeup and use special products to cleanse and remove spots
  • If you have sensitive skin, make use of hypoallergenic make-up and moisturize
