How to Overcome From Dry Skin

Dry skin is the result of naturally lost moisture from the skin surface. Steps to overcome the problem
  • Drink adequate liquid at least 8 glasses a day, it can either be a water or fruit juice or soup or any watery substance.
  • Eat green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits daily
  • Use moisturizing body lotions regularly
  • Avoid soap, instead use face wash, moisture rich hand wash and bath gels
  • As per doctor prescription, use Vitamin E capsules
  • Avoid steam baths
  • Avoid junk food
  • Don’t smoke
Tips
  • Better consult a cosmetologist or dermatologist for favorable results.
  • Put your face towel in open area before going to bed. The towel gets wet due to fog and if you wipe your face softly and slowly, it will take away the dry skin.
  • Try a bit of Vaseline, but not too much. It makes your skin very oily. Apply before going to bed and make sure that if you rinse in the morning, you get a natural shine.
